Automotive Technology Training
Provides the skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. The curriculum covers essential areas such as brake repair and replacement, diagnostics using scanners and multimeters, and electrical systems, including understanding drawings and repairing lights and dashboard warnings. Students also learn maintenance procedures like basic tune-ups, oil and filter changes, and tire services, in addition to grasping diesel and gasoline engine concepts, preparing them for careers as automotive technicians and mechanics.
Bookkeeping/QuickBooks®
General accounting principles and certification for National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. QuickBooks certification that allows you to keep track of financial functions like income and expenses, employee expenses and inventory in real time, and Intuit certification for QuickBooks®.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Assists the nurses and physicians in caring for patients. This is an entry level role that provides vital support to both patients and nurses. At the end of this course, students will receive a CNA certification once they pass the final exam.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Provides immediate medical care to people in emergencies. Often the first to arrive, they work in ambulances, assessing patients, administering treatments like oxygen and CPR, and safely transporting them to hospitals.
ESL Entrepreneurial Class (online)Training designed to help English Language Learners who have a desire to start their own businesses or to help grow their existing business(es). QuickBooks certification included.
HVAC Technician (A/C tech)
HVAC stands for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. It refers to the system that regulates and moves heated and cooled air throughout buildings and homes. This course covers construction safety, basic electricity, and refrigeration principles. At the end of the course, all students will complete the EPA 608 certification exam, which is required to work with refrigerants such as those used in air conditioning units.
Business Office Specialist (Microsoft Certifications)
Training in GMetrix LearnKey Courses provide students with the tools to pass the official Microsoft Office Specialists (MOS) certifications in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Paraeducator Training (online)
Prepares individuals to support teachers and students in the classroom. It covers essential skills like instructional support, classroom management, understanding diverse student needs, and special education practices. The training also emphasizes communication, collaboration, and ethical conduct, ensuring paraeducators can effectively assist in creating a positive learning environment.
Plumbing Certification Training
This program equips adults with practical plumbing skills through hands-on training, emphasizing direct application in over 80% of instruction.
The program includes the following courses: Introduction to the Construction Industry, which provides an overview of construction, covering safety and blueprint reading; Introduction to the Plumbing Trade, which introduces plumbing tools, materials, techniques, codes, and standards; and Residential Construction Plumbing I, which focuses on installing and maintaining residential plumbing systems.
Phlebotomy Technician
A
phlebotomist draws blood and collects non-blood specimens to prepare for
laboratory testing. At the end of this course, students will receive a
phlebotomy certification once they pass the final exam.
Security Guard Level II, III, and 1V
Training and certification for Level II Noncommissioned Security Officers (Unarmed Security Guard), Level III Commissioned Security Officers (Armed Security Guard), and Level IV Personal Protection Officers (Executive Protection/Bodyguard)
Translator & Interpreter Certification Training (online)
Training for adults who want to work as interpreters or translators (spoken language only) within the medical, education, social services and other career fields.
