SENIOR CITIZENS PROGRAM
The goal of the Senior Citizens Program is to provide a community facility where vulnerable and impoverished senior citizens meet together to pursue mutual interests, receive services, and take part in recreational activities that will enhance their quality of life, support their independence, and encourage their continued involvement in and with the community. Services include monthly field trips, arts and crafts activities, game days, health screenings, low-impact aerobic exercise programs, information and referral to other social service agencies, and assistance in completing government forms and applications.

Funding sources: City of San Marcos, Hays County, Blanco County, and the Capital Area Planning Council (CAPCO)-Area Agency on Aging.
